Steve Wright was found guilty today by a jury of his peers after a speedy deliberation. So ends this chapter? Or does it? Other disappearances and unsolved prostitute murders are going to be investigated now - all termed cold cases.

Police arrested a man who'd been plaguing an escort with all sorts of things, from malicious text messages and emails, to attacks on her property. He was confidently escalating his reign of terror on her when he was traced and arrested through his emails and text messages. As he was being led away by the police, his incredulous response was, "Do you realise she's a hooker?" He thought if they knew what she did for a living, they'd let him go. Imagine his shock when he realised that they were aware of her profession. His respectable facade had crumbled at his feet.
And that's the attitude of the sad no-marks that need to vent their inadequacies on a woman and need an easy target. This behaviour is not just limited to serial killers, especially the men mistaken in their belief that modern technology can shield them from discovery. If only they knew!
